This very relaxing photo a people playing on the seashore was sent to me by a student at HIT. I'm not sure where this was taken but Taiwan being an island has lots of seashore. Most are rocky like shown here but there are some beautiful white beaches in Kinting in the Southern part of the island.

kite jet_IMG
This photo was sent to me by one of my colleagues. He and his daughter were visiting Taichung Park and saw this individual flying very unusual kites. The kite flyer makes his own kites. This one of a jet is quite different.
This photo is a great example of showing people at work and play.
曾冠淵 三次元
I found this photograph fascinating. It may have been taken at HIT and if so, it represents the quality of their technical education. I also like the design of the photo with the person set in the lower right quadrant of the photo.
邱文雅--熱愛扯鈴的小孩
Although the Tanzania-Taiwan exhibition can no longer be seen at the HIT Library, people are still sending me their photographs. I'm pleased to receive them.
This photo is one taken around the JiJi train station. JiJi was the epicenter of the very large 1999 earthquake. Most of the buildings have been rebuild. JiJi is located in Nantou County and you can visit there by taking a narrow gauge rail that was built by the Japanese during their 50 year occupation of Formosa. When you visit JiJi should also visit the Taiwan Endemic Species Center and Museum. The Museum includes a butterfly house where can share the space of live butterflies.
Taiwan has many beautiful places that more foreigner need to made aware of and visit.

施朋志 掃地的人
This photo was sent by a visitor to the exhibit. This is a good image that represents the theme of this exhibition - work and people. This is part of the photography exhibit, "Tanzania and Taiwan: A View of Two Countries Through One Pair of Eyes."
車掌的背影
This photo was sent by a visitor to the exhibit. For those not familiar with Taiwan's rail system, it is very efficient and low cost to ride. You can take trains that go all the way around the island and see some beautiful scenes. This conductor is managing a local. This is part of the photography exhibit, "Tanzania and Taiwan: A View of Two Countries Through One Pair of Eyes."
